Your clients have been asking you to design and produce an email campaign but you don't know how to do it. You need some help because you've got the skills but your not entirely sure how to pull it off. And you'd like to because you need and want to expand your offerings to your customers.

I Can Help You Produce An Email Campaign

Here are 4 very important things to consider when doing an email campaign, all of which I will help you do.

1. Your email will need to work in a wide variety of email programs.

There are more email programs out there than stars in the sky. Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Eudora, and Apple Mail are the most popular and each of them have different versions. Making them all happy - that is, getting the design of your styled email to work as you intend in each of these environments - is tricky. How tricky? Much trickier than making most web pages these days.

There's a lot to consider when creating an email campaign whose design must work for your client's audiences.

I'll help you resolved your design issues because I know how to optimize your email template. You will look good and your client will smile.

2. Are You Going To Use A Pre-Fab Template Or Build One From Scratch?

The easy answer is to use a template already made. Perhaps you can use a pre-fab and customize it a bit, and that will be ok.

But, knowing clients the way we do, that probably is not going to work. Clients have their own brand to protect and grow, and will want you to work with their brand to create their email template. This means creating an template from scratch.

I can test your template so that it will work as you intended.

3. The Code For Your Email Template Will Probably Have To Be Error Free.

Most email blasting methods require that the code for your email be letter perfect. Unless you know how to write good and valid (X)HTML and CSS (and work with images) in a way that works with all of those email programs, you will have headaches like you can't imagine.

I know how to write perfect code. That's one of my services. Create your template and I'll perfect it so that it can work!!

4. How Will You Send Your Emails?

There are two ways to go.

One is using an online service. You upload your list of recipients and email template to a server. From there you make adjustments and schedule the time to launch your email.

This is the preferred approach. I reviewed the reasons why in an article in my Joy Gems Newsletter, Good Lookin' Email: Which Way To Go.

The other method is using email blasting software run from your computer (or your client's). It's not the way to go, but surprisingly people are still doing it this way.

Does it sound as if I know how to work with designers and clients? You bet I do. My job is to optimize your email template - that's the key to making everyone happy.
